In the shipping industry, classification societies act as technical review agencies, involving all processes of ship construction. The Class Society issues recommendations, guidelines and regulations for the design, construction or modification of ships. During the project planning stage, we work closely with the classification society until the type approval is approved and factory testing is carried out to ensure that the product complies with all the guidelines and regulations of the classification society, which means meeting the requirements and expectations of the customer. In close cooperation with classification societies, SHANBEI Technologies has built efficient, user-friendly and ultra-modern systems that ensure the safe operation of ships.
Globally, there are more than 30 classification societies, 11 of which are internationally recognized. These eleven countries are members of the International Organization of Classification Societies (IACS).
